First impressions are so important in the horse industry, whether you are trying to impress the judge or the public in a sales ring. In an auction setting you only have 5 minutes to show off your horse or ponies best qualities. In the show ring, most judges spend less than 2 minutes viewing your horse or pony.

We offer a full range of sales and show preparation services. My specialty is preparing young stock to be shown on the line. My philosophy with foals, from day one, is to handle them, handle them and handle them some more! My foals tie, lead, ride on a horse trailer and stand for bathes and the farrier. I work with my foals from the day they are born. I also accept outside youngsters for training of basic ground manners as well as starting young horse under saddle. I believe in a lot of ground work as a foundation for starting young stock under saddle.

A well turned out, well mannered animal gets noticed.

My farm is located in Prince George's County, Maryland, east of Washington, DC. This location is convenient to several major shows and auction rings such as Fasig-Tipton (Timonium) and Professional Auction Services, Inc. (Herndon, Timonium, Lexington). My facilities include a 13 stall barn, 5 fields, a round pen, riding ring, and two small turn out paddocks.

Horses and ponies being prepared for sales or shows are turned out individually. I develop a conditioning program for each horse or pony depending on the time frame involved and the condition of the horse or pony on arrival.
